If your vet do the surgery right, it won't occur again. And after surgery , I'll suggest you give your poodle glucosamine & chondroitin rest of his life to prevent further cartilage problem. There are many different products , you may consult your vet to get the suitable one for your dog.

I will check if you bring her to my clinic tonight. 2. We use a term "pica" to discribe this behavior problem. There is no real cure for pica, the risk of pica is depanding on what she eat . Some vet might tell you that May have the abnormality of the digestive system, or a nutritional problem , but Pica is a psychological abnormality, providing alternative edible objects such as 牛皮骨 and other digestible treats might help.
By the way, Dr.Chen,I have also heard that 心絲蟲藥可以1.5個月吃一顆也ok啦.您認為呢?謝謝.
1.5 個月吃一次是ok 的~~最長不要超過兩個月~~ 以免藥物劑量不足而造心絲蟲的感染~~
